While they say the OBR and SR25 uppers and lowers are compatible, I don't think you'll be able to get it to work with a DPMS. For whatever reason, DPMS decided to make their rifle with the stock tower rounded, instead of the faceted design on the SR25. I THINK I saw somewhere that you can put a SR25 upper on a DPMS lower and just live with the gap ( ) but I'm not sure... The SR25, DPMS, and LaRue BCGs all look like they would be interchangeable purely judging from pictures. But I'd rather see if I could score a spare BCG straight from the source.
I also know that the FCG is interchangeable with 5.56 ARs. The grip, too. I'm pretty sure the receiver extension is shared with 5.56 ARs, too. Apparently on the SR25s with collapsible stocks, they have their own extension/ buffer setup, so that's a no-go. I'm not sure about DPMS. I'd be interested to hear what LaRue has to say about spare parts, especially considering I won't have a half dozen or so of any given part laying around, like I do for AR15s

Problem solved, ordered a 16" to keep big brother (18") company.
Surprised nobody suggested it earlier  .
Only problem is I spent the bank saved up for the OBR light 
And I'm still optic soft, maybe I'll set up the 16" to be irons and T1 only, any pics of that setup floating around? |
