Ok, so, I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit an 18" OBR into one of the Larue Covert cases?

If not an OBR how about an Armalite AR-10 with an 18" barrel?

I'd just like to know if the case will work for me before I make my purchase.

18's aren't out on the market yet. If you look in the covert case picture thread you can see a 16" in the case and it doesn't leave much room to spare.

I was not aware that only 16" OBR's had shipped. Thanks for the reply though.

I did look in the Covert Case pic thread and saw an 18" AR-15 upper can fit on a diagonal.

Now I wonder if the extra inch or so of AR-10 receiver will also fit this way.

So, if anyone in the know could chime in I'd appreciate it.

Seems like Fingar has a pic some where with an 18 in a covert case, could be wrong though. Its probably a 16.

Tag for update:

I really wanted the covert case for my 18" stealth but was afraid it wouldn't fit. My combo is 18" upper with standard A2 flash hider and UBR.

I tried my 16 inch ar-10 in my case and thought it was just a little too big. Ended up throwing in one of my 16 inch ar-15s.

I'd go with a bigger case for an 18 inch obr when they come out personally from my experience with the 16 inch ar-10.
