Hoping to get a trijicon accupoint for my Recce style AR. the tube diameter is 1 inch.

I'm just not sure which mount would be best. Right now I have a DD rear sight, but plan on switching to a Gen II MBUS or a troy battle BUIS. Can anyone give some guidance on which mount I need, or is it personal preference? I have a DD front sight, so I'm nto sure if that will alter my decision.

I have been happy with the Troy BUIS that LT sells.

Call 512 259 1585 and ask, the guys at LT should know what will work with clearance for your scope combination and the DD front sight. They are great to talk to on the phone and will get you fixed up.

Ok, hopefully I'll find time between classes tomorrow to call.

Just looking for anyone who has an Accu Point, see what mount they decided on...or any low power scope

Do you know if the LT 139 will allow you to see it over the FSB?

What power Accupoint scope are you planning to purchase?  Generally anything from 3x up, the front sight is not visible in the field of view.   If you can borrow a scope with the lowest power you want and try it.

I know that might not be possible as far as an Accupoint scope goes as I have never seen one, or an Aimpoint in a store that I have been in.

Stuck in the windy city of Laramie

Call LT and ask the guys about it ... they have seen about any combo you can think of and are great to talk to on the phone.

The front sight will be visible at 1.25 power and then it will disapear as you go to 4 power.  If it's lower 1/3 should be good to go at 1.25x  and not sure the amount of blur of the sight.

I have the same thing happen with Bushnell Banner 1.5 to 4.5 on my Marlin levers.

Yea, not used to it, been in jackson a couple years now and have been spoiled.

talked to them through email about different combos, an LT 104 was best for me, so the order has been placed

Lucky! unfortunately being in college keeps away the accupoint for awhile, but I do plan on getting a Leupold mark 4 to have by spring break. I will trade up for an accupoint around christmas hopefully.

Mr. Larue, I'm good on my word

I hope I don't offend you, ML, whatever optic I choose, it will be in one of your mounts, and the SBR build I'm doing in the summer will be using your handguards.

Just wanted to let everyone know how it went.  Got my package today. Everything was awesome! they gave me(along with the stuff I ordered) a pocket dictionary of the constitution, which will be very handy for my POLS class, a larue hat, a dillo, 2 bumper stickers, and some dillo dust

So I couldn't wait until december to order a trijicon, so I ordered a Leupold 1.5-4x20 scope, which should be here saturday.

THANK YOU LARUE TACTICAL! I think I gotta get more optics so I can buy some more LT stuff
