Will DPMS-LR308, 4 round mags fit in the OBR? Just wondering for hunting. We have a 5 round magazine max in Michigan. I figured if Magpul 20LR's will fit in an OBR and DPMS, then a DPMS mag should fit an OBR and vis-versa. I guess I could also block the 20 rounder too, I just don't need the hassle from the DNR.
Thanks. |

I'd like to know as well since we have the same mag restriction in VT for hunting. I'm guessing they would be good to go, since they are the same mag pattern configuration, but wouldn't mind official word.
I also remember reading a post from Mark where he stated that he had a solution for the mag, but never saw anything further. |

Not sure about other states, but in VT it's perfectly acceptable to block the mag tube of a shotgun (insert wooden dowel of the correct length) so it only holds 2 rounds (and one in the chamber) to fulfill the 3 round requirement for migratory bird hunting.
I would much rather have a mag designed to hold 4/5 rounds though. |
