Have any of u messed with the Falcon Menace Scopes? Whats the most comparable brand to it out there? I've seen an increasing amount of people using them... just curious what some Larue followers think The other scopes i have are Nikon prostaff for my ruger m77 and a Leupold Mk4  3.5-10 L/RT M1 Mil Dot.. I hoping the MEnace falls in between these two scopes. It's going either on my 700P or the OBR coming in the future. Haven't decided yet

Uses:
LR Target
Hunting

I will be honest and tell you that in dim lighting conditions my Leupold is a better choice, but the other 90% of the time I am extremely happy with my Falcon Menace, so much so that I just bought another one. They are good kit all around, but when you factor in the price, I think they really start to shine. Just my .02

It is a tactical style cross hair though, so for LR target you may want something with a finer line, but it works well for hunting. Though I haven't personally looked through their FFP model, I would assume it works as well as the rest of their lineup.

haven't used the FFP, but my 4.5-18x56 MP20 xhair is great.  excellent clarity, perfectly repeatable, A+ all the way around it.  the price was real nice @ just under $400 shipped

at full zoom, in low light is where the leupold will stand apart as the better scope

only fault i'd give falcon is that my knobs feel mushy & need more resistance.  that said, the knobs are fine & have audible & tactile clicks, just not as crisp as nightforce, super sniper, or leupold.  super sniper makes a real nice 3-9x40 that would probably serve you well.  plus it has a lifetime warranty.  i'd have gotten it myself if i had the $, but $600 for a shelf model was just out of my reach

They are great scopes. The image is bright and clear and I find the knobs to be crisp, at least on mine. Mine is in a LaRue SPR 1.5 and has held its zero perfectly. The price makes it a great deal.
