Right now I have an LT-129 on my carbine to hold my Aimpoint.

Problem is I find myself still trying to line up on the front sight post.

Which of the LaRue mounts will provide an absolute co-witness on my AR?

You don't need to line up the dot on your front sight post to make an accurate shot –– the aimpoint is a parallax free sight so you just put the dot on the target.

Maybe this one will fit the bill?

I know its a good freehand optic, but I just find myself automatically focusing on my FSP instead of the dot in the middle of the window...I was trying to compare the height between that one and mine, but its hard using only the pics on the website

The 152 is too low for absolute cowitness any useful cowitness from what I remember.

It looks to me like it would just let me see the top half of the front sight block...it is maybe a quarter inch to half inch taller than the ring that came with my Aimpoint, and I know that wouldnt work unless I used a carry handle gooseneck...

The LT129 will give a lower 1/3rd co witness, and the LT152 will give a lower third co witness on a RAS II handguard hump. We do not offer an absolute co witness height aimpoint mount for the tube aimpoints.

Thanks!
