If you don't want to spend a lot right now, Waldens has a Simmons 3x9x40 8 point scope. I picked one up the other day. 40 bucks. Nothing fancy, but I'm sure it'll work just fine.

....and I am positive an Aimpoint will serve you well......but that upper sort of demands an optic with some magnification, IMHO of course.

Congrats on winning Taxman! I am envious to say the least.

I'm putting a Nightforce 2.5-10 on my 18/13.2.  Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.

Which reminds me...time to order my mount.

Wait till after the SHOT SHOW.  Trijicon is coming out with a new Accupoint that is supposedly going to be a game changer in the 1-4x.

This is what I would do if I were lucky enough to win a larue contest.

Personally, normal scope. Then if you feel you need a RDS you can get one of the mini-RDS that mount to the scope body that Vic at TNVC sells.

Meh.  With a +15% price increase on their stuff too.

I had their 1.25-4x it was pretty good, but I just swapped it out for a NF 1(true)-4x, a night and day difference.  The FC reticle was worth it alone.

if i had won, seeing as it looks to be a little more "reach out and ......." you know, i would go magnified optic with a mini red dot on a offset mount on the receiver. never liked them higher up on the optic. with a offset, it mounts to the upper (if it will fit) or on the front end. with a quick turn, your on the red dot. doesn't change cheeck weld much, and to me, is a much more natural postion...

kind of like the three-gun guys....

this is the YMH one, but just for example. picfu is weak right now.
