I am working on my first build and am using an LT 11" handguard.  The prongs on the barrel nut wrench feature on the AR Multi-tool (Sherluk Marketing) that I have wouldn't line up with the holes in the LT barrel nut.  I knew that the good folks from Sherluk would be at a local gun show this weekend so I took the tool (and the barrel nut) to show them today.   None of the wrenches or multi-tools that they had at the table would fit either.  They did however fit on the barrel nuts that this company sold.  I noticed that some of the AR multi-tools that I have seen on the internet only had two prongs where mine had three.  So upon returning home this afternoon I removed the center one with my Dremmel, still no luck.  The pins seemed too wide.  At this point I was getting rather frustrated and being the genius that I am I decided that the best thing to do would be to bend one of the pins with a hammer (stupid). It promptly snapped off and flew to some unknown location where at this moment it is safe from me and my hammer.  Now I need a new barrel nut wrench before I can proceed, damn.  I am wondering if there is a special kind required for LT barrel nuts, if it is possible that I have an out of spec barrel nut,  or if the company that I originally purchased the multi-tool from is suspect.  If anyone out there has some advice to offer it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

My YHM wrench works. It was from my pre-Larue days.

I looked on YHM's website but didn't see any for sale.  Any idea where I can get one?
