Sorry, we don't have an insert that grips it at the middle. It's designed to grip from the front for several reasons.
Mainly, the EOTech 3X has relatively short eye releif, so we wanted the magnifier positioned as far back as possible and have the ability to clear a BUIS at the same time. Also, the EOTech 3X has no internal windage and elevation control (like the Aimpoint), so the control needs to be part of the base...in our case, the ring has a ball-joint insert that allows magnifier to shift (and the reticle to be centered in the FOV) before the ring is tightened down. |
