I am building a DMPS LR308 (with magpul PRS) and already have a Mark 4 6.5-20x50mm LR/T M1 Riflescope (NOT the illum. ret.) that I plan on using. My question is; which LT mount? I shoot nose to charging handle on an M4 but this is my first .308 AR so I am not sure how I will run it, esp. with the PRS. Thanks!

| I dont have that exact scope but I have a Leupold Mark IV 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M3 on my Armalite Super SASS. I went with the Larue SPR-S (LT-158) on that rifle. I believe it is roughly the same as the SPR/M4 mount but has a built in 10 MOA cant. This allows you to extend the range of your optics elevation adjustment. It says on the website that it makes a great scope mount for AR10/.308 rifles. |
