Anybody running a leupold mk 2 tactical in any of the SPR mounts? Thinking of saving up for one but wasn't sure which to get (SPR-E or M4). Going to run it on a Colt 20" flat top. Anybody have some advise or pics? Thanks! |

Here are some pics throughout the years of some LaRue mounted Leupolds I've had. I prefer the regular M4 SPR mount as I find it more versatile when using a fixed or collapsible stock. Some prefer the SPR-E mount when using collapsible stocks because they are "nose-to-charging-handle" shooters. I am not, so I run my stocks out a little further when using most magnified optics. Exactly what scope and stock were you planning on using?

I have a hard stock 20" Colt that was my brothers that I'm looking to scope, but have it on a removable mount (the SPR looks perfect). My bud found a good deal on Leupold Mk 2 Tactical's so that is what I'm looking at. Little ways off from doing it but want to narrow it down so I know what I am looking at prce wise. Sweet rigs by the way! ETA: the scops dimensions look similar to that last pic. |
