I have asked Mark & co for a DPMS barrel nut for their rails for years. No luck. Armalite uses 18tpi threads and DPMS/KAC use 16tpi. So its just a thread pitch change. Last time I actually got an answer, it was something like: Me: "Hey Mark can you make a barrel nut for us DPMS folks?" ML: "All 2 of you?  "

Its just the barrel nut thread pitch. DPMS is making 308s as fast as they can, Fulton, JP, Remington, KAC all use the same threads, so there has to be a market there. Semi autos are ruling sniper competitions these days. If Daniel Defense, PRI, Badger, VTac, SWS etc can do it? I was surprised LaRue would concede the market to someone else. |

| I'd have loved a LaRue rail system for either of my LR308s but went with the SWS rail instead. You'd think it would be pretty simple to make another barrel nut. My SWS rail is actually the AR10 RS2 with a DPMS nut. I imagine something similar could work out for LaRue unless they dont use a seperate barrel nut?? |
