Question:
I received two thick black rubber band lookin' things with my upper...what are they for?

suggestion:
your QD wrenches are a bit long IMO.  They should be a bit shorter so they can fit in the forward grip or a magpul pistol grip.  It's not a tool I expect to use often, but it should be available if needed.
I know most of you will say "you'll never need it in the field". however I like to be prepared.

LaRue Rocks!

i like the wrench idea... did you order a FUG? the rubber bands are used to secure a tape switch to the fug for light or lasers

He WON the FUG. FUGGING lucky bastard

Like he said, they're for mounting the pressure pad for lights/lasers to the FUG.

okay, got it-FUG pressure swich strap, Cool!

yep, I won it, and a sweet rifle it is!

I also ordered a Bipod, bipod mount, and ACOG mount from LaRue.  They are GREAT to deal with.

I plan on taking a grinder to one of my Wrenches, however it would be nice to have them made short.  I know leverage will be lost with a shorter wrench, but that's okay.

Thanks guys!
Danomite!

I just cut down my LaRue QD adjustment wrench to be able to fit it into the Magpul grip.  It fits nicely beside 2 rounds, sight adj. tool, and broken shell extractor.
I most likely will never need it, but since there's room, I might as well put it in there!
