EVERYTHING I've seen thus far has not worked to my satisfaction with current M14/M1A mounting solutions.

Agreed! Part of the reason that I got out of the M14 game was that I wasn't too thrilled with my mounting options.

Looks like an SPR EE (extended eye relief) mounted backwards on the forward rail of the Sage stock. More likely an 18 inch barrel because the SE vortex cannot (yet?) be used on the Socom.
