And check out the awesome response by moderators/site staff...

HERE

if they refuse to stop allowing people to come on here advertising BLATANT THEFT and the sale of counterfeit items, I am not renewing my team membership and would hope other people do the same.

Maybe if industry partners, sponsors, dealers, like Larue, Trijicon, etc, stopped giving the site money, they might actually man up and lock these stupid airsoft threads that jeopardize the livelihood of small arms companies in the US.

It is hard to understand what is allowed and not allowed since they are so vague in the COC.

I was just hoping LaRue would confirm these are indeed counterfeit items.

That's confirmed.

Came to us marked as ...

...Item - misc. toy spare parts.
...Declared value - Samples, $10 minimum value.

They do have our our same LaRue name, logos, and LaRue part numbers, and the engraved USA . They are essentially "mock-ups". All of what we know-to-be-critical stuff is missing.

From 10 feet they do look like one.  And they do displace about the same amount of water.

The guys at Leupold have posted a counterfeit warning about their Mark IV scope. We're going to do likewise. Like the leupolds, these are a poor attempt at counterfeiting.

But we are going to have to waste resources on combatting this.   We expect folks to be buying the counterfeits and foisting them off as original LT-made.

And of course lawyer$ are now involved.

Joy.  Rapture.

LaRue

ETA - The counterfeit cost us $65 plus shipping - total landed cost was $90-something bucks.
