As many others have stated, LaRue customer service is excellent. Had a problem with the gas key on the BCG of my 7.62 tOBR (my fault.) Talked to John Mailloux at CS who was familiar with my situation and he told me how I could fix it. Tried, but wasn’t able to get it done so I sent it back to see what they could do. John had it repaired and shipped back to me the same day he received it! No charge. Many thanks to him and the whole crew at LaRue. They have always been helpful whenever I have contacted them. Their products are the finest and CS is beyond reproach.

I will start by saying that every time I called Larue, whoever I spoke to was friendly, polite and helpful and my question/concern was addressed to my complete satisfaction.
But.... Why does Larue have email? Over the last 4 months I emailed Larue several times, after hours, with issues/questions and I never received a reply. One example: I called about some missing lower parts from one of my UU kits during the Shot Show. Everyone was at Shot so I sent an email. I had to follow up with a phone call a week later in order to get the parts. It’s a little frustrating. |

Larue is awesome. Fast shipping and they make the best mount for Aimpoint optics.
I received my order today. Aimpoint pro with LT129 Mount the quality is the best I’ve seen. |

Does anyone know if LaRue works with or is an FFL dealer so I can order the Ultimate Upper Kit and then order the lower and just go pick it all up near Leander somewhere? I'm a TX resident with CHL so I know it would be legal just not if they have a relationship with a FFL for that purpose or if they are all mail order.

I'm out of town in a contract and won't be home for 6-8 weeks and I don't want to get a kit delivered without me there for 2 months or get one delivered to the hotel I'm staying in either. But Ii really want a 308 kit. I've recently milled a Armalite A version lower that I'd bet the Larue upper would go great with. If it wouldn't fit I'd order a Larue lower for it too, but I want to try to build with my 80% first.

It would be nice if LaRue sold MLOK handguards separately for the UU kits so I could replace my keymod one.

What would be really nice is if they would just ship a fucking MLOK handguard that they said my UU kit would come with. So I can actually use the UU kit that is sitting here. They shipped a keymod. I was told to return the keymod which I did.
Now I'm being told that my order isn't a priority so suk it up buttercup as we are concentrating on shipping complete UU kits. Fuk That - pretty shitty CS if you asked me. |

A quality lower?
ETA: I’m just giving you a hard time. I’ve never heard of their cs as being anything less than stellar. Give them a call, don’t be an ass, and they will accommodate you. Btw for the record, i do not believe they said anything resembling suk it up buttercup. |

Quality lower haha- Aero is pretty darn good. Try one- AR's are all about barrel and trigger anyway.
The customer service people I have spoke with have been very nice- we have had multiple friendly conversations- usually ending with them saying we are trying to get the HG- production won't give us one. Hopefully end of the week.... My complaint is against the policy of pushing the complete UU kits and not giving CS a |

With multiple Larue orders under my belt I finally had a order issue where I needed to call customer service for their help. Jamie took care of my problem with complete satisfaction. Sounds like some customers have had problems that have not been able to be handled promptly, but mine was promt and efficent. No company can make all people happy all the time, but other companies in this industry should strive reach the level of customer service Larue provides.

Trust me they know what a tolerance is. Far too many people think that because it doesn't cost $280 is isn't any good. I bought a matched pair upper and lower and you have to hold it up to a bright light to see any rays between them. Know how much I paid for the pair? It was CHEAP! Guess what? The AR15 I built out of them shoot sub MOA with off the shelf ammo. She like 50 gr VMax and 69 gr SMK's. Even my newby shooter self shoots 3/4 MOA with those loads. However she hates NATO 556. M193 and M855.... suck. |

Ordered Wednesday with two day shipping, got my mount Friday, just in time to shoot.
Very happy. |

The fact they don't display when items are on backorder is mind-numbing to me.
I get it with rifles, as they are being built to order, not built to stock. Assume every rifle is on backorder since they actually have to build it. And, you don't list a timeframe because it's likely to not be met so you just end up pissing off customers. That part makes sense. But their optics packages... come on. Simple- you either have the optic or you do not have the optic. So, put 'BACKORDER' if you don't have it. Not a big customer, maybe $1k a year in rifle parts and optics, but did just cancel my last order today. Done with them until they figure out how their inventory level notifications work for all other items that are not complete rifles. |

My interactions with LaRue customer service have been helpful and they've been responsive. However...
The back order status of the order I placed on 5/1/20 is incredibly frustrating to me. I only learned that LaRue does not have live inventory after my order was placed and after I had received a back order notice. Fine, no big deal. EXCEPT that the order page for the items I ordered (a Trijicon MRO and mount combo) had a bright green button that stated "IN STOCK." In fact, that same "IN STOCK" button remained on the page for about 3 hours after I received notice that the items were on back order. Then, to make matters worse, I later discovered here that others had ordered the same combo up to two weeks prior to me and had also been informed (again, weeks before I submitted the order) that their items were on back order. This tells me that for at least two weeks the Trijicon MRO combos were on back order, but the site was still telling prospective customers that they were "IN STOCK." This should not happen in 2020 with so many live inventory systems being available. The fact that there was a back order is not an issue to me. But it is incredibly misleading to tell customers that items are "IN STOCK" and presumably ready to ship when in fact, they've been back ordered for weeks. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I fully anticipate being pleased with the product I ultimately receive. I'll likely even order from LaRue again because they make great stuff - I'd love to have an OBR or PredatOBR someday, and I'm seriously considering ordering an MBT in the near future. But the lack of a live inventory system is certainly going to make me think twice before I order something that I'm not willing to wait months to receive or could purchase elsewhere and count on having it mounted on my rifle and at the range within a couple of days of the order. |

View Quote This. I made a purchase of a barrel and a bunch of other parts for a project build and didn't learn about the backorder on the barrels/buffer tube until about four days after the order was placed. no worries, probably a quicky. called in to CS and was told that bbl lead times are uncertain due to attempts at fulfilling UU kits. I've already sourced the other parts in the last week and will cancel those from my order. Disappointed that the barrel is going to take forever to arrive. Live inventory would be a plus for the site. |

I just made my first purchase of a 16” complete upper a couple weeks ago. I’m still waiting for them to take my money. I don’t mind waiting for quality gear. It will show up when it shows up. Then I can order more stuff. But seriously, take the money out of my account.

I don't know how popular they are or what kind of money you make on them but I love your Battle Mixers. I've bought a bunch over the years and even given them as gifts. I'm a fan. But, you need to make an updated, second version that fits the modern plastic gallon paint cans. They are becoming unavoidable and my old Battle Mixers don't fit!
