Hello, do you usually charge shipping again for backordered items ? it just happened to me. Also any ETA on the larue slings ? thanks |
Good question on the shipping/backorder issue. We've had folks sore at us for holding onto stuff until we have it all. So as of late, I've had a standing order to ship what we have as soon as we have it...and we haven't been taking the postage thing into account. You are the first to bring it up. What do other similar businesses do? Do they have an option to hold everyhthing 'til order is complete ? What about the folks that don't care about postage and what something/anything as soon as we can get it their way ?? Oh, and all the sling backorders went out today. Mark |

Thanks Mark. Usually you get charged for the first shipment and not the others since the customer agrees on the final price when ordering online. This should be final invoice not matter what is backordered. Most of the business do it that way. (Amazon comes to mind). |
So don't ship it 'til we have it all ??? ML |

if you can afford a bunch of Larue Tactical gear... the additional $10 in S/H isn't going to break the bank... especially when you get free hats and armadillos which are greater than/equal to the additional shipping costs. i'm crossing my fingers for another 'dillo |
I work hard for my money so getting charged 3 times for shipping costs is pretty steep for me.

My fault, I'm stuck here with my head up this machine shop's ass all day and don't encounter all there is to the world. And apparently some folks order all at once to save shipping...a novel idea. We'll do better... Mark |
Oops, I should trust my folks. Shana tells me she does exactly as we discussed, you somehow slipped by and she out-and-out blames that on human error. I'll just be taking my seat over here and be seen but not heard. I hate to ask but I hope she tossed a second set of goodies in with the rest of your order. That would take the sting off a little. Now that's the right way to run a business!! Leave the boss that knows his product in the machine shop and surround him with knowledgable support people that know their part |
