So I just completed a build with an AIM Nitride bcg and have been having issues with a bit of short stroking. I don't blame those issues on my bcg (I know its a gas issue), however I haven't had any problems while using an ar15 bcg (lighter weight). and I have some of the nitride already worn off of the carrier that is no longer black but silver and I have only put 40 rounds through it with my aim carrier. Is there a possibility my carrier isn't quite to spec and is causing too much friction? I'll try and post a picture as soon as possible. Thanks!

You can see the wear from only two magazines of use. It looks the same on the other side

Here is the wear inside the receiver.

It looks fine. Use 556 ammo and it will help the surfaces mate. If your old BCG was semi, the extra weight of the new BCG might be contributing.

Again, use full power 556 ammo, and you should be fine.
