I have been an AIM customer for a long time. As an Ohioan, I have even visited AIM in person to make purchases.
AIM is currently selling 45rd RPK magazines.
Now, in Ohio, we are not permitted to use magazines of that capacity in our rifles. But, they are legal to own.
In the ad on AIM's site, states which AIM will not ship the magazines to are listed...Ohio is not on that list.
I wanted one of these mags to add to my collection, so I placed an order.
Today, I got an email saying that there is a "problem with my order"...
The problem is that they are not shipping these legal to own magazines to Ohioans...a fact not disclosed in their ad.
Why sell them at all, if they have a problem selling this legal to own magazine to the residents of their own state?
I have found the same magazine for sale out of state. They are happy to take my money and ship to me, as they know it is legal to do so.
Very disappointing, AIM, and very puzzling.

Someone else posted a bitch about the very same thing maybe a month or so ago.  Don't have a link or enough interest to search it, but you might dig it up to see how AIM answered back then.

the mag is legal to own and sell to Ohio, yet if you put it in your gun, you have broken  ORC 2923.

The ORC defines any semi automatic center fire firearm that has been designed or adapted to fire more than 31 rounds without reloading as a machine gun. Thus a dangerous ordinance. This does not apply to NFA registered firearms.

I'm sure you would never put it in your gun, but we are not messing with it or constructive intent.  Sorry
