I'm a first-time customer at AIM. I put in an order on 1/31 but my account says "Pending Verification"
I uploaded my ID immediately after checkout. It's only been a couple days so I'm not too worried... Just wondering what the normal processing time is. Your prices are hard to beat! Thanks! |

What did you order and where are you located? The item you ordered may not be legal in your state. I would call AIM on Monday just to check with them.
I ordered a surefire 60 round magazine from AIM and I am located in Ohio and they won't ship that mag to me. My order said pending verification until it was canceled. |

I also got an email "pending ID" though I uploaded a pic of my ID after the order was placed. I sent an email with my ID pic in, wil call tomorrow to confirm. Double check the email. We don't send emails out like that. It's definitely from y'all, has y'all's info and emails as the return addresses and numbers. Odd. |

I'm not sure what the "holding inventory" part means and I really hope it doesn't mean I'm not gonna get the case of 5.45 I ordered. It means just what you think. Since we don't have your ID on file, the ammo is no longer allocated to your order. There is a chance we can still fill your order but we need the ID asap. |

Well I just called and the ammo is gone and I'm back ordered now I sent the order in Thursday with my photo ID and apparently there was an issue and it didn't go through. I get the email requesting the ID Sunday, and I sent a second copy of my ID within 5 minutes of getting the email. Christina sent me an email just a little but ago saying the ID is now on file and to call. I don't understand why it'd be hard to sit on my order for a day until I've at least had a chance to reply to the ID request.

Good news is you'll still probably get your order since there's bound to be another customer or 2 whose ammo gets released for the same problem. |

Standby, look I get you have a system, it's your way that's fine. But you're saying that when I click submit, on your website and there's no error message I should "assume" that something went wrong? What? And you're saying I had 4 days to fix this for myself? Negative, I had 3 days from Thursday - Saturday to "assume" your website works, what an idiot I am! Then on Sunday when I was notified of a problem I immediately did what I could to rectify it. You're right, this is 100% my fault. Listen, I had no issues with sometimes things go wrong and it'll work out in the end. I've got some ammo, I can make it a few weeks. HOWEVER, don't blame me for not "assuming" your companies website actually god forbid works, and that I've screwed myself by believing your website. |
|
Not blaming you for anything or calling you any names. I'm just saying I wouldn't assume we have something unless you either a) verify that the info is posted on your account (which you can see by logging into your account); or b) one of us tells you we have it. That goes for anything. It's why I send any forms to the ATF signature required, it's why I check my bank account a few days after I mail out my mortgage check, etc.
Sorry 3 days, not 4. Didn't realize you were one of the folks I sent an email about yesterday. |
|
Ok, I accept that.
I ordered the ammo after hours so I couldn't check then, Friday I just didn't check because y'all are so backed up I figured it'd take a while to get to my order (which I figured had my ID attached. I'm still gonna be ordering from y'all and the reason why is because we can have a frank discussion and work it out like normal folk. Better than a lot of people out there y'all are always on the site to deal with customers and that's above and beyond in my book. |

Normally? 1-2 business days. Right now about 2-3 business days. Remember we're closed on weekends. Ok, thanks. Status has changed to processing. Can't wait for that ammo to get here! First time customer huh, better get a bucket to soak your credit card in. Have to after every AIM purchase.
