I was thinking I like the white background better.  Easier to read.  Besides that, the site is great.  Easy to navigate and quick to load.  I am so sick of "upgraded" sites (staples and lowes come to mind) that load so much crap they are worthless to use.

its funny i got back to back emails tonight, one guy saying it was so much easier to read, and he will start using it again, and one guy saying he hated the black and won't come back till it goes back to white

Black is OK; I liked the white better.

What I would really like is the free shipping on a Troy Claymore, but to Alaska. Just a little USPS envelope would work; that can't be more than the minimum UPS charge to the L48.

But I still like ordering from you.

With AIM's great prices and customer service, who cares how the website is setup.  Besides, there are FAR worse website layouts out there *cough* classicarms *cough*.

"one guy saying he hated the black and won't come back till it goes back to white"  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Wow, i could use an excuse to stop ordering so much from AIM but it wont be cuz the website color is not to my liking.....which  I prefer the white but not by a noticeable difference (slightly!)

Once you go black, you never go back (I prefer the black background)
You can tell the whiners that you did it to help the environment (since so many people use AIM, black = less power usage for monitors )

The black background is WAY better than the white.

The thumbnail pics always take a few seconds to snap into place.  I find that way more annoying than a choice black or white background color.  I like the black btw.

I like the black better.  Easier to see and makes the colors more vibrant.

Of course I will order no matter what color it is...

The black is far superior and easier to read.  Good job.

Speaking of the website...seems to be broken.

Asking for a username/password.

It works fine with full www.aimsurplus.com .  If you leave off the www it asks for name/password.

Another thought...

Can you clearify that anyone can order a firearm, but it must ship to an FFL?   The "FFL Dealer Sales Only" makes it confusing.  Obviously, we all know what to do, but someone new off the streat might not.  I've looked at SOG a few times, but am not sure if non-FFL's can order or not. I could call and ask, but that's too much extra effort.  The good thing is it saves more money for AIM.

Maybe add a list of FFL's you have on file ??????

The black is evil, it forced me to buy ammo when I didn't want too.

I have been on a couple of websites, that were not firearms related, and they let you pick your color. Black or white.

Possible to have a little button on AIM to do this? Would make everyone happy then, maybe.
