Bryan,
I just picked up my PSL from the FFL, and it was missing, or no longer comes with, 1. Rubber eye piece for the scope. 2. Sling. 3. Magazine pouch. 4. Oil bottle and cleaning kit. 5. Cleaning rod. There was also NO box, as the dealer insisted it was destroyed in shipping. Other than a slightly canted front sight, the rifle is beautiful, great fit and finish. Could you please clarify the missing accessories, particularly the scope eye piece. Thanks for your reply! |

Thanks. Something just didn't seem right. I just can't figure why he'd do it, unless he was miffed
at only making $30 on the transaction, although he made plenty from me this year. (4 rifles, 1 shotgun) I will look for another FFL and he'll get no more business from me! I'll also post his shop in hometown forums.

Fook an FFL if they'd do something petty like that. IMHO $30 for a transfer where they literally do nothing but fill out a form is pretty good money. I'm thankful I have someplace professional like SGC that I do my transfers at. Being a member there, they do all my transfers for $15 and I've never seen them mess with one of my orders at all. They're happy for the easy money, but they're huge, so they do plenty of business |

As for everything else, AIM only ships out what Century sends with the guns, but I'm pretty sure that the sling/pouch/cleaning kit/cleaning rod should've been in there. Bryan can say for sure. |
| I got the exact same thing as you did 240gnr and I just shot an e-mail to AIM and they are shipping me the cleaning kit etc. Just give them a call or e-mail. I will say I was a little dissapointed as well because I have delt with them many times and this is the first I have had an issue with a product. Mine did come in a nice well taped box though. |

It wasn't your dealer. My recent order was also missing the same stuff AND my front sight is canted right too. Must be the same batch. All in all, I'm happy with the rifle. I just need some of that polish Bryan's been teasing us with.
I got the eye piece from here: http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/detail.aspx?ID=222 IM to Bryan. Hopefully he can hook us up with the other accessories. |

I wouldnt trust an FFL that opens a box they know is for a gun transfer. Thank god my FFL dealer is trustworthy and a very decent guy. He knows his stuff and appreciates all the business he gets too. And only $10 to transfer a rifle!!
I've done 4 transfers through him, all flawless (except for one where the seller didnt put my name on the package so he didnt know who it was for). Whenever the package comes in he calls me, and when i get down there he hands me the box and a box cutter and waits while I open it. That way we BOTH have peace of mind. BTW the FFL dealer i'm talking about is 'a cut above pawn' in beaverton, OR. Oh and AIM has always been great with their packaging. Only flaw with the PSL was the bolt handle had poked through the box and made a slit in the cardboard. No damage to the rifle though. |
