I picked up a couple of boxes of privi .38spl lead round nose locally to see how it shoots before placing a larger order with AIM. Shot about 50 rounds today, with about 15 rounds of UMC .357 mag SJHP. Got home to clean my pistol (Ruger SP101) and the thing had barrel leading like you wouldn't believe. I'm pretty certain it came from the privi, seeing as the UMC has copper around the area of the bullet that engages the rifling. Have you heard or had similar experiences with this stuff? |

This will happen especially when you shoot .38 special ammo in a .357 magnum handgun... Make sure to scrub the chambers Explain... .38 Special is shorter than .357 magnum and if you were to shoot a bunch of .38's in your revolver and then try to stuff some .357 magnums into the cylinder - you are more than likely going to need a good cleaning of the leading left behind from the .38 special ammo. |

The OP's not talking about that, he's talking about leading in the bbl, which will happen no matter what caliber you're shooting if the projectile's all lead. |
