Does anyone here know the difference between the LA-5 laser with p/n ATP-100-A9 and the ATP-100-A47?

One is the High Power variant while the other is the Ultra High Power. Besides the UHP being higher power than the HP, it also has an immediate CQB override for targeting distances. This immediately lowers the output for the laser at engagement distances
