I am looking at both an Airframe and an Ops Core fast helmet.

I wear an XL in my ACH and I was looking for something more stable with NODs and a bit lighter.  Any advice on which helmet would be better and why?  Backorder status/lead time?

If you need ballistic, I'd strongly consider the Team Wendy Ballistic that just came out.

I own a OC FAST Ballistic and a TW LTP Bump.  The suspension system is miles more comfortable on the TW.  The BOA system rocks.

I'm not sold on the TW suspension system.  I have one in an issued helmet that has seen gallons of sweat and it has some negative issues.

First, it has that tension strap that runs above/behind your ear.  This is a huge problem if you wear Peltors under the helmet vs clipped on the side rails.  With side rails, it might be OK...but I don't run the Peltors mounted to the helmet.  Second, it allows my NODs to move more than the Ops Core H nape system. Ops has the best webbing...TW has the best pads IMO.  I have zero time in a Crye anything...

Wondering if there is a best of all worlds option that is stable for NODs, comfortable all day, not sweaty, light weight, relatively low profile/snag free, and compatible with standard gas masks and Peltors.

To clarify, I have an Ops H Nape chinstrap system in my ACH.  I don't have a FAST Helmet.

They both work great, however, in my opinion the most comfortable and most stable setup right out of the box is the Ops Core (LUX Liner version). As far as lead times, I would just need to know what sizing and color you'd prefer. We have a few in stock, although not many due to their lead times being a little longer than desired, and the helmets being extremely popular.
