Should positive load be applied when adjusting CW or CCW?

The reason I ask is that my DBAL seems to be marked incorrectly on the adjusters, and the manual is incorrect on which adjuster is elevation vs windage.
The adjusters are marked clockwise for up and right, counter clockwise for left and down. Actual adjusting is the opposite.

Manual states CCW adjustment requires positive loading but I'd like to be certain.

It is my personal opinion that you should use positive loading in both CW or CCW when adjusting any optic. Its good practice, and eliminates any issues from not doing it.
