I am very interested in picking up a "budget" PVS-14 in the next 6-8 months (need to save some monies). Anyway I have a couple different guns I want to use this with. One has a Eotech 557 on it and one would need a laser system (it has a Eotech 512 which is not NV compatible). I am looking at the following and want to make sure I do not need anything else before I make a purchase PVS-14 with full package PT helmet with VAS shroud IR laser Is this what I need or did I leave something off? Are these all compatible?

Very thorough list you have and all bases covered. Glad you identified the NV RDS only and put the laser on the non NV compatible unit. You will find that having a head mounted PVS-14 with your laser doing all the talking is the versatile way to use the 14 in most cases.
