| I have a surefire M961 and am disappointed with the MN10 and MN11 bulbs. I'm looking for maximum throw. Will the TX4 outperform the Surefire turbo head with the high output bulb as far as distance is concerned? I am not too worried about the runtime or flood, just the max useable light distance. |

Vic I find referenced distances to be kind of subjective since there's varying degrees of detail for threat assessment that can be visible at a given range, even if you can make out a shape or movement. Since the beam profile makes a big difference, can you do any long distance beamshots that compare it to a 200 Lumen KX2C head or your Q5 or something like that, ideally with a person standing at varying distances? I think comparisons like this to other lights people may be familiar with would be very helpful, and I noticed there are only indoor shots for the TX4 on your website. |
