[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Two questions about Eolution rail

1st question is about the mounting. If I want to run a 12.37" rail, do I need a longer barrel nut, or will the stock barrel nut work?

2nd question is, are there any vendors that offer AR15 member discounts for the evolution rails?

I'm a cheap bastard and any cash I can save would be going toward a second Evolution rail.

Talked to Andrew at Sampson and just FYI, the 12.37" will work with the factory barrel nut.

That is correct,
All the EVO rails for the AR15 mount to the standard OEM barrel nut.
The thermal bushing is a little longer than the barrel nut and provides maximum support on all the rail lengths including the 15".
