This is a build I did some years ago with the MI T-Series 2-piece handguard. I used a Midwest Industries HD Quick Detach Sling Swivel.

So you had to buy a QD mount to attach to the rail? I take it that the rail doesn't come with a QD mount socket and you can't attach a QD swivel to a vent hole?

The MI SSM M-LOK 1-pc. free float handguard has the QD sling swivel sockets.
