[ARCHIVED THREAD] - MI T-12 alignment?

so i ordered a T-12 rail from parallax tactical a couple of weeks ago and my barrel came in last week. the rai lines up with the receiver rail but not perfectly. it's just a tiny bit off. not matter how much i try to adjust the barrel nut its alway sa little crooked. Is this normal and does anybody else notice this? is it maybe a machining error? sorry this is my first build and it doesn't bother me a ton but i would liek to figure it out.

Make sure you line the hole in the barrel nut up with the one in the upper . sometimes it helps to use a drill blank . I doubt its a machining issue . take your time sometimes it takes a while to get it aligned exactly how you want it.

alright thanks! i never thought of using a drill bit, like i said its not a huge deal or me cosmetically i was just a bit worried that it would throw off my BUIS.
