Hello,

I was curious if there was a trick or helpful info on putting the 3 magazine insert into the MayFlower APC.  Maybe its just a size issue as its a S/M carrier with a small cummerbund.  The insert seems just too wide for the cummerbund and will not fit unless scrunched up, and barely fits in the kangaroo pocket with only 2 mag pouches usable.  Hopefully I'm just not getting the procedure down to get that insert in there.  Any tips, tricks would be useful.

Thanks

I'll have to ask. This is the first trouble I have heard of.

Mine was a tight fit, like a really tight fit, and I won't be setting any speed records by loading mags in them....but, they do retain three extra mags without adding extra bulk to the APC and you can draw the mags fairly easily. My APC is a S/M.

Quick question.... Are you guys running plates and/ or soft armor in the APC? I'm just wondering if that is adding to the issue or not.

Thanks for the replies.  I was able to get the kangaroo insert in with the help of a ruler, but the side pocket on the cummerbund is about an inch to small for the full 3 mag insert, but could be used as a 2 mag solution I guess.  I have no armor, soft or hard, at the moment.  I'm just starting to set it all  up and wont be running it without it, I'm just  saving my pennies for the armor.  Hopefully these pics turn out.

Seems to be what I'm hearing on the sm/md carriers. Two mags fit just fine, but put three in there and it's tighter than prom night. Great for carrying mags either way..... guess you just need a collapsible dump pouch for when you are low pro.

I totally skipped passed the part where you said you were trying to fit it into the cumberbund...my bad.

To answer SKD, I'm running the DSG Ti plates. I'm actually thinking of picking up a pair of the 10x12 soft armor panels to run in FRONT of the plates just in case of spalling...what is your opinion on this (SKD)?
