Had an OOB with the upper...
This was about round 180 of 200. Checked everything else out and it seems fine. Bolt face, chamber, extractor and ejector were fine. I was able to finish off the mag just fine, and there was no noticeable gas coming out of the open side. Looks like I'll be calling monday for replacement panels.  Maybe this is why these things never went further than they did, haha.
ETA, on further inspection... other side is toast too..

Had a similar incident with mine. I only lost the left cover though.
Call CMMG and explain the type of upper you have and refer to this thread for pictures. There should be no problem in CCMG just sending new covers out as they did for me. 1-660-248-2293 Good Luck, Dave in Florida |

I had thought about getting one for my 9mm but glad never pull that trigger! That's a 9mm man.... Called CMMG and they said so problem, send an email with pics and narrativr and we'll get replacements out ASAP. |
