I have been trying to address some issues (lite strikes, FTF) with an 20" CMMG Complete upper.  Today I was changing out the FCG and the firing pin and I noticed that the end of the firing pin that the hammer impacts is round / sperical.  Is this a specific typr of firing pin?  I have never seen another one and I can't find pictures of it on their web site.

Thanks for any help.

CMMG's firing pin is normal, as you mentioned.

These TACCOM3G parts should help with the light strike issues.

The sperical end firing pin is an older design, we have been using a squared off firing pin for a couple of years now.
