Quick question for the CMMG experts.   Did the India 22lr conversion kit ever ship with anything but what is listed on the CMMG web site?   I've found it for sale on a few sites, but most did not have a picture so that I could accurately determine what I would get in the kit (including which mag was included).  I'm hoping that the India kit has only had one version and, I don't have to worry about any variations in the kit...

Thanks in advance for any responses

The India Kit originally came with the Gen l BHOA grey mags with black two piece followers.

Thanks for the reply!   Do you know if the older kit also used the same part number (Part Number: 22BA68D ) along with the India name that the current kit uses?  I'm still hopeful there is a way to differentiate between the two versions..

All part numbers have changed.
The original India kit was––-
India 10
India 25

Did you get my IM?

The India Kit is the Absolute Best 22 Conversion Ever Made IMHO.

While I agree with you, how and why can it be taking soooo long to correctly produce thee auto-sear trip and anti bounce weight? I mean Ceiner has been manufacting these for years? AND YES MINE HAS WORKED FLAWLESS!

I'm happy to say I now have latest version of the India kit.  Everything appears to fit (despite my best efforts), but I cannot get the BHO to engage on the last round.   It will engage if I manually actuate the Bolt Release lever.   It looks like the magazine spring just doesn't have enough power to push the follower up enough to engage the BHO feature into position.    If I start putting light pressure on the Bolt Release - I can see the follower move up along with the BHO mechanism and it will then grab the bolt...  FWIW - I did follow instructions and adjust the BHO Actuator screw until the bolt was 'free', but it did not resolve this problem.

Any suggestions?

My india kit showed up a few days ago and I am having the same problem with the BHO adapter.  Sat down in the shop to mess with it last night.  I spent some time getting the height screw just right and added a drop of clp to the mag catch on the adapter.  I was hoping that by sitting at the bench and cycling the BHO manually I might smooth any rough edges on the mag follower and other related parts to make it work and avoid trimming the mag catch spring. After doing that for a few min, it started to work by itself. It was late so I didn't bother with the other two new evo mags. I am confident that I will have all 3 mags working properly without cutting the catch spring before I shoot it this afternoon.

Yep, you have two choices. You can clip a couple coils off the bolt catch spring or install the reduced power bolt catch spring that CMMG should have included with the BHOA.

Shadowcop - thanks for the info!  I did see the spring attached to the hex/allen key, but mistakenly thought it was a spare spring for the bolt assembly.   Glad they included it, but wish that the documentation had referenced it so I could have been working on it Saturday .   Shouldn't take long to swap out, just need to find the time this week to get it done before this weekend's trip to the range.
