I've done my research on the different versions of the CMMG dedicated .22 upper and am getting one soon.  My question is which of the following would you get if you planned on shooting 200 rnds a month?

Option #1   - CMMG 16" M4LE WASP 22B7CE6
Black Phosphate action.
No FA
No "Go/NoGo" Collar
Standard Handguard
$370 shipped

Option #2   - CMMG 16" light weight 22B1C50
SS action
FA
Go/NoGo Collar
No Handguard
$485 shipped

I want the upgrades (who doesn't) but is it worth the $115 price tag given my planned amount of shooting?

When I got mine ( ordered through CMMG ) I paid for the stainless upgrade but did not add a go/no go or FA. Haven't needed either. The stainless bolt is smooth and very easy to clean. If I were buying a new one, I would do exactly what I did before.

YMMV

I'd order the stainless steel upgrade on anything just because I consider it the
absolute best.... FA and BHOA can be added at a future date. Even at 200
rounds a month, do the math, you're gonna save loads of money and I'll bet
you will find yourself shooting much more than that. I felt that way many years
ago and my high months were 5,000 rounds plus... The 22 has saved me
somewhere between $40 and $50 THOUSAND DOLLARS in ammo costs
since......

I really like the 16" Pencil Barrel.... A Lot..... Your option 2 if I'm not mistaken...

Get the SS upgrade.  Everything wipes off except the scorched stuff that is by the chamber.  Even them it comes off easily.  You may think you wont shoot a lot with it but you will... I have owned my dedicated 22 for less then 6 months and have close to 3K through it.

Another +1 for the SS upgrade.  I've shot 1000 rounds in a single outing (without cleaning) and the bolt was still working fine.  I would consider the other options nice to have but I would get the SS upgrade for sure.
