Will the BHOA work with the non evolution conversion? I assume you would also have to upgrade the spring and follower in the magazine.

The only difference in the new bolts is a slightly angled rear underlug and a sharp 90 degree angle on the front of the bolt.
I'm at work but I'll try to find the diagrahm. I would still try it without the mod first. Short answer, yes it will work.  " target="_blank">

You will also need to modify the back of the feed tower where the follower pops up. Takes about 30 seconds. Just file a 45 degree angle. Also, work the follower up and down several times to break the follwer/mag in. The tail of the follower is spring loaded and drags on the inside/rear of the channel.

Dave N I found a thread on that last night. I ran about 100 rounds through it today at the range with no issues. This is going to be so much cheaper and fun. |
