Hi,
I have an older CMMG kit (bought Oct 09), and want to clarify my upgrading options. To get the bolt hold open, I need: .22 Evolution Conversion Bolt Hold Open Actuator and .22 Evolution Conversion Bolt Hold Open Spring & Follower for 25 Rnd Mag Is that all I need? Does the "Anti-Jam Charging Handle for Dedicated .22 Evolution" apply to my drop in kit, and would it offer me any benefit? Thanks, Keith |

The BHOA and 25 round BHOA mags are what you need for the up grade. You may or may not have problems with the bolt. If you do, there are directions on filing an angle on the rear, underside of the bolt. Takes about 5 minutes. But try it without the mod first.
The anti jam charging handle will help eliminate the dreaded "empties in the charging handle". If you are not having this problem, I would stick with what you have. If you already have 25 round mags, there is a slight modification for older mags which is a 45 degree angle on the rear of the feed tower for the BHOA follower. Pics available for that also. Dave N |
