I'm looking for another 22 upper but don't want a 20" or a m4 style upper. Would it be possible to make an 11.5" 22 upper with a 5.5" flash hider?

Sure, it's possible. It would fall unser a custom build. Call CMMG for priceing.
End of the year John is very busy as is most CEO's. It's hard for me to get hold of him. I try to answer thre threads as best I can. I'll get you an answer today. What you have to keep in mind with .22 barrel is an 11.5" will not be the same length as a 11.5" 5.56 so far as look. It would actually look more like a 10" The barrel sets is the receiver farther. So you would have to decide what you are going after. That is why it's hard to keep several barrel lengths. Dave |

I spoke with John on the road today. Yes they can and will do an 11.5" Again, you will have to decide if you want to match an XM177 in length. The barrel would have to be recut, recrowned, rethreaded and Nitrited. You will have to call for the additional cost.

| I've got an XM177ish carbine in the planning stage. Will be sending my M4LE barrel into ADCO for them to do the required barrel work & perm a 4.5" fake modulator. Will go to NoDak for upper & lower receivers. I've got the rest of the stuff. All it takes is money. |
