I have the .22 dedicated upper, bought a few months back, and it has ran flawlessly until today. I had a FTF, then a FTE. After taking the round out with a knife, I cannot get a shell to eject AT ALL by cycling the bolt and it is giving me FTF's also now. I did see the tacked thread on the conversions and applied that to my dedicated as much as I could, but the shells simply will not eject, like the little :"hook" isn't grabbing the casing anymore.

Anyone else had a problem like this that knows a fix?

Was gonna do that, but thought maybe it was something that others had run across.

After messing with it more and soaking it REALLY good, blasting it with CLP and air everywhere, it seems the extractor(?) just will not grab the casing and extract it from the chamber. I ran a bore snake down the barrel a few times with some Hoppes on the beginning of the snake to insure there was plenty of gappage for the shell to come out as easily as it could.

I have ran 2000+ rds through this gun probably in 2-3 months I've had it. Worked great... no, no... MARVELOUS all that time until today. No problems at all.

I really hate to take everything off of it and have to send it back. It has new rails/ optics/ BUIS and such on it and zero'd now.

You shouldn't have to send the entire upper back. Most likely you'll just need to mail the conversion in for repair or replacement.

I apologize. I thought that you would still be able remove the conversion itself. Best of luck.

Yea, I guess you are right there. The chamber it attaches to shouldn't need to be sent in. I hope. I'm gonna get ahold of them tomorrow. I may just run it to Fayette if they will let me so I'm not out the gun for days/ weeks.
