I bought a couple of the 42rd mags with the WASP finish but the finish seems to be thin/ rubbing off in some places, is this normal?
I thought the finish was"tougher than chrome plating"?

I have 7 mags that I have done nothing with them but remove them from the bubble wrap they were shipped in and each one has "shiny" areas on the sides of the mag near the spine.

It looks like we had a contaminate in the mix on part of our first shipment. Contact us by email and we will get this changed out for you. Sorry for the hassle :(

As a follow up, it is normal to get a black residue off new mags. It is similar to cosmoline, but there won't be any bare metal showing.
