Howdy, I have a new CMMG 16" middy and I'm wondering if CMMG has a recommended break in procedure..?

i wondering the same thing. i sent an email to their technical support back in Feb. still haven't received an answer back.

CMMG's email response:

We do not require a barrel break-in, but if you choose to do so I
recommend that you fire one shot, then clean the chamber and bore after
every shot for the first 20 rounds. for the next 100 rounds fire ten
shots and clean the chamber and bore.
