My kit should be waiting for me in the mailbox at home.  I'm going to go shoot it Friday . . anything I should do before then to get it ready to gun smoothly?  Soak it in lubricant?  (heard that mentioned before), clean it, etc etc?  Also, where exactly are the lubrication points?  Since it's not moving in the upper like a normal BCG, I'm assuming the lube points are much different.

Oil on the rails, firing pin and extractor will do the trick.  Thanks,

Got my Brownells branded unit last week and was a little apprehensive as I know these things can be finicky.  I just put a drop of CLP on each rail and then ran 100 flawless rounds of CCI mini mags through it.  Now I'm wondering why I waited so long to get one of these things.  Of course finding more Mini Mags is proving to be problematic.

Got mine yesterday and lubed it withcouple drops of fp-10 and ran federal bulk ammo through it and mini-mags,it ran perfectly. So I also tried some Remington Sub-sonics it even ran these through it with out a hiccup. This conversion kit by cmmg is awesome, just alot of FUN. Thanks CMMG

Got mine from Brownell's two days ago along with 3 BDM mags, and have ran about 100 rounds through it so far. I'm very happy with it, as it has functioned flawlessly on Federal and Winchester bulk pack ammo. This is my first CMMG product, and I'm impressed at this point.

So how accurate is the 22 ammo out of the 1/7 twist barrel?

I'm just planning on shooting at 25-100m

At 25 yards or so my kit is dead on in my 10.5" 1/7.  I haven't shot much further than 50 yards but I can hit pop cans at further distances with a little bit of a holdover.
