Just got back from the range, first time shooting my CMMG MOD4. My windage knob is spiked most of the way to the left for me to be near where I think I should be zero'd ( I need more practice ) I tried different cheek-weld locations, mostly "nose to charging handle" but most of my shots are pretty consistant. When I got home I took off my detatchable sight handle and placed the rifle up-side down on a flat surface, then took a level and held it to the top surface ( again, upside down) of the front sight base where the sight post is and the level shows my FSB is way off center. So I turned the rifle upright and eyeballed it and I can definately see that the FSB is canted slightly left of center. My wife and daughter both agree on this as well. Maybe the barrel needs to be realigned? As I understand it, the FSB is not adjustable on the barrel, as it is pinned. I believe warranty covers this...?
ETA: By the way, the gun shot flawlessly. Lots of guys at the range thought it was bad-ass and some felt a little sheepish whith their DPMS's next to my CMMG |

Just got my upper back from your shop, FSB canted to the left. There was some kind of work order that said the upper was debarreled, rebarreled, then zeroed FSB. Does this mean you guys put a sight on, attatched my upper to another lower, and fired one or more rounds to make sure the barrel was properly installed? I'm just curious. And if this was the case, how many rounds are usually fired for a test like this?
