Does anyone know the history of CMMG? What are the roots/background of this company? Why are the parts marked "cmmg mpc" ? Isn't "mpc" the Colt stamp for magnetic particle testing? Also, in the April 20, 2006 Shotgun News p. 71, the web address is missing the last "c" on what should be "cmmginc" Thanks |

C is for chrome lining, MP is for Mag Particle testing. SGN used a copy that was supposed to have been replaced; I hope we get a deal on the next ad. We made barrels and uppers for a few years before we started doing lowers and complete rifles early last year. We wanted to come out with a high quality, moderately priced firearm that would stand aside from other makers. This business started as a hobby and has grown into a full time business over the past few years. We've been doing it exclusively for over 4 years now and have just expanded with another new building. Jeff |
