Can you recommend flashlights that will fit on Springfield XD subcompact 40 SW?

I like the insight X2, but I'm still looking for another good one that is LED.

The only thing I have really found in LED for a subcompact is the Viridian 5CL at $300, which is out of the budget.

Is the X2 on/off switch easy to use?  Have you had any issues with bulbs breaking?

The on/off switch works just like the original M3 light, one direction for momentary and the other direction for constant on. The switch is a lever type and works on both sides at the same time.

I haven't had any issues with the bulb breaking, but I haven't dropped it or anything else either.  I don't have a holster that allows me to carry the light on the gun right now, so I carry the light in my pocket in case I need it.  I have used it as a regular flashlight for light when necessary as well.

It does use the CR2 battery instead of the CR123 though... so battery compatibility with all my other lights doesn't exist.

There's the Streamlight TLR-3 that is an LED, it is $74.00 + s/h.

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks,
Kevin
