| Why did BCM decide not the make 11" and 12" KMR Rails? I mean they make 7,8,9,10,13 and 15 " rails. Why not 11 and 12? Go figure 11 inch would be my favorite size for a rail on a 16 inch barrel. |
| I just ordered a 13" KMR on a 14.5" ELW barreled upper., to replace my aging BCM duty upper. I attended a lengthy class last week, and was inspired, seeing some of the guys running the KMR. I am used to, and also prefer an 11"-12" rail (I have a 12" C4 on my current duty gun) on a 14.5" barrel, but, longer is better than shorter, in the long run. Maybe, if I decide I don't need the extra couple inches of rail space, and BCM eventually comes out with a bit shorter KMR, I will simply swap it out. No big deal. |
