| Ordered after business close last night, received shipping notice tonight. barrel, gas tube, handguard, foregrip. Outstanding - I was completely prepared to wait 4 weeks. |
| update...ARRRGGGHHH!!!....barrel only in the box (and a hat, thanks...). Invoice showing all items shipped, but no gas tube, LaRue handguard (now out of stock - triple ARRRRGGGHHH!!!), gas block, or vertical grip. I have an appointment with the company that is going to do my build and NFA paperwork tomorrow!!!! I just paid for a gun trust to put this thing into!!! I'll post what happens - e-mailed customer service (info@bravo...), no reply yet. Rather disappointed. I can't imagine what they could do - unless the parts were misplaced and they have not already sold them (handguard anyway, I didn't check stock on the others), I might have to abandon my SBR build. |
| That sucks, but you don't actually need the rifle to do an NFA trust & paperwork. You need to have a lower with a serial number on it, and know the length of the barrel. You have the barrel so you should be set. 'sides you can't put the rifle together until you get your stamp back. While this sucks, you can at least do your NFA paperwork. |

Thanks for the info - verifies what I found out today. My trust is complete, not executed; I have the complete lower, will get that into process. Anybody know: if I transfer my complete lower to a manufacturer/holder during the NFA transfer, then the transfer of AR's is banned, ow do I get my AR into my trust, or back to me (into trust if approved as SBR, or back to me for building as AR if not approved?). In other words, if I transfer my AR to 3rd party to hold while waiting for tax stamp as SBR, and before I get an answer, transfer of ARs is banned, have I essentially just given my AR to the 3rd party, because they would be unable to transfer into my trust as a SBR, or back to me as an individual?
Update: Bravo contacted me today re: incomplete shipment, asked for more info, which I provided, signed, and returned to Bravo; Brave sent a notification that it has "sent me a package" - no indication via my account o any other contact as to what the package might contain...hopefully all of my missing parts...will post again re: update. |
