I just received my LMT upper I ordered through BCM. When I went to function test it, the bolt would close on Black Hills ammo, but could not remove the unfired case without having to slam the butt on the floor while holding down on the charging handle. With Wolf ammo the bolt would not even close all the way. Tried with about 10 different rounds of each ammo, and two different bolts. Same problem.
Tried the ammo in my other 2 AR's and works fine. Could the chamber be undersized?

Here is a pic of the Black Hills ammo after removed from rifle, note the scoring on the bottom of the case.

Best bet is to lube it up and take it to the range...  Try it live fire with full power ammo.  You must clean and lube well for the first time out.  Use mags that you know work.  Most feeding malfunctions are mag related.

One thing I have noticed with LMT uppers...they work best with LMT BCGs.

If that fails, call LMT.  They are the ones that made it and they are the best ones to fix or replace it.  Gene at LMT will hook you up if it doesn't run.
