I'm looking to pick up a Beretta 71 as a suppressor host for a Mask. I came across a video where you internally threaded a Beretta 70S for use with an adapter.

Rather than use a 1/2x20 to 1/2x28 adapter, is it possible to chop off the 1/2x20 threaded portion of the 71 barrel and internally thread the barrel for your adapter and have the suppressor sit as close to the slide as possible?

Very nice, it looks much better than the adapters do. How does it shoot?

Its our standard threaded extension service. $155.

Is there any loss in accuracy having one of these internally threaded vs externally?

Not that I can see.  I just got out and tested my 1911 9mm that ADCO extended and threaded.  It's just as accurate unsuppressed as suppressed.
